Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 12, 2026
1. Introduction
MintPages ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you register for an account, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
- Account credentials
- Profile information you choose to provide
As you use the Service, your team may also give us:
- Billing details for the invoices and statements you prepare in the Service: your business's legal name, address, email, phone and logo, and the contact details of the buyers and partners you bill or pay.
- Credentials for your own accounts at other services that you choose to connect, such as an ad platform access token, a tracking platform login or API key, or your own AI provider key. We store them encrypted and use them only to do what you ask.
- Author profiles your team creates for its pages: a name, role, photo and bio, and a private description of that author's writing style used by Minty.
- Ideas and bug reports you send from the app: your words, an optional screenshot, the page you were on, your name and your team.
Usage Information
We automatically collect information about how you use the Service:
- IP addresses and device information
- Browser type and version
- The screens you open and the buttons and actions you use in the MintPages app, in what order and how long they take (for example, that you created an offer and then added it to a page). We record the names of screens and actions, not what you type into them.
- When you or your connected tools use our API, MCP server or Minty, which actions were requested.
- What you ask Minty and what it answers, the pages, results and pictures it reads to answer, and the words and screenshots you give it for a page look or picture. Each AI action is also recorded in a usage ledger with the credits it used and what it cost us.
- Referring URLs
Analytics Data
For content published through our Service, we collect:
- Page views and visitor metrics
- Click-through rates
- Geographic location (country/region level)
- Device and browser statistics
Visitors to Pages You Publish
When someone visits a page your team publishes through the Service, we process that visitor's information on your behalf and under your instructions. For each visit we record the visitor's IP address, browser and device, the page and link they arrived from, a visitor cookie that tells one visitor from another, and what they click. We use this to count visitors, tell people from bots, attribute results to the right source and show you your results.
If a visitor fills in a form on your page, we record what they entered (such as a name, email address or phone number), the consent wording they agreed to and when, and how long they spent on the page before submitting. We deliver each submission to the destinations you set up and keep a copy for your records and for proof of consent.
If you connect an ad platform such as Meta, we also keep the identifiers that platform attaches to the link a visitor arrived on and to its cookies (for example Meta's click id and its _fbc and _fbp cookies), so that results can be reported back to that platform.
Anyone can report a page on a MintPages address for abuse. We keep the report, the page address, the reason and, if given, the reporter's email address.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and send billing notifications
- Send important updates and service announcements
- Respond to your requests and support inquiries
- Analyze usage patterns and optimize performance
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
- Understand how people use the app, so we can make common tasks faster, fix confusing steps and decide which features and API functions to build next.
- Help Minty, our AI assistant, and AI tools you connect to MintPages suggest the usual next step for a task. For this we use patterns combined across many users, with names and team details removed. Your own team's patterns are used only for your team.
- Show you the screens you use most, as a "Most used" list in the app. It's built from your own app-usage records and disappears when you turn recording off.
- Send your results to the destinations you connect (a webhook, a tracking platform or an ad platform's conversions API) and prepare the invoices, statements and usage ledger your team asks for, including drafts made on the schedule you set.
- Let Minty read your pages, results, author profiles and the words and pictures you give it, so it can answer, change or build what you ask. New teams may get a free first page and free page looks drafted by Minty from their answers at signup.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Service Providers
- Stripe: For payment processing
- AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI): When you use Minty or connect your own AI key, the request and the context needed to answer it are sent to that provider. That includes the screenshots you give Minty for a page look and the description you give for a generated picture (pictures are made with OpenAI).
- Stock photo services (Unsplash, Pexels): When you search for a stock photo, your search words go to that service. Photos are shown from the service's own servers, with the credit it asks for, so it can count how a photo is used.
- GitHub: Ideas and bug reports sent from the app are filed as issues in our private tracker, with your name, your team's name, the page you were on and your screenshot.
- Cloudflare: For bot checks on forms and the abuse report, and for traffic protection on some addresses.
- Hosting providers: For infrastructure and data storage
- Analytics providers: For service improvement
Destinations You Connect
You can tell the Service to send your results to accounts you hold at other companies. We send only what you set up, to the account you name, as your service provider:
- Meta Conversions API: When you connect it, we send events from your pages (visits, clicks, leads and conversions, as you choose) to Meta from our servers. Each event carries the time, the page address, the visitor's IP address and browser, Meta's own click and browser identifiers, and, when a form provided them, the visitor's email address, phone number, name, city, state, zip and country, each hashed with SHA-256 before it leaves our servers. Meta uses this under its own terms to match the event to an ad.
- Tracking platforms and webhooks: Results and lead details go to the addresses you enter, in the format you choose. If you connect a tracking platform account such as Everflow, we can also read your invoices and advertisers from it to import them.
- Amazon: If you connect Amazon's Product Advertising API, the product ids you import are looked up at Amazon with your keys.
You are responsible for the notices you give your visitors and the consents you obtain before sending their information to these destinations, and for those companies' terms.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Regular security audits and updates
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Secure payment processing through PCI-compliant providers
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we must retain it for legal or business purposes.
Detailed app-usage records are kept for 90 days, then combined into summary statistics that don't identify you.
- Minty conversations are kept for 30 days. A turn you rated is kept for a year with its words removed: only the rating, your note, the date, your team and your name.
- The usage ledger, invoices, statements and payment records are kept as long as we need them for billing and accounting.
- Visitor records, form submissions and consent records for your pages are kept while your account is active, so you can show what was collected and agreed to.
- Abuse reports are kept for 12 months; a reporter's email address is removed 90 days after the report is closed.
- A screenshot sent with an idea or bug report stops being linked from our tracker 90 days after the report is complete.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access and review your personal information
- Update or correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt-out of marketing communications
- Object to certain data processing activities
- Turn off app-usage recording for yourself in User Preferences, or for your whole team (owners and admins) in Settings.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@mintpages.io or through your account settings.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your login session
- Remember your preferences
- Analyze usage patterns
- Improve the Service
You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
On pages our customers publish, we set a cookie that tells one visitor from another so results can be counted, and a cookie that recognizes a team's own members browsing their pages. Where a customer has connected an ad platform, we read that platform's cookies (for example Meta's _fbc and _fbp) to report results back to it.
9. Author Profiles
A team can publish author profiles on its site: public author pages that show each author's name, role, photo and bio, link to their articles and include structured data that search engines read. The team decides who appears there and is responsible for having each person's permission. An author that is a pen name of the team rather than a real person always carries a line saying so.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
